I graduated from Wilson High School in 2002.  I went on to pursue my associates at OSU and then graduated with my Bachelor's degree in secondary education from Northeastern State University in 2008. 

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education.  

I also have my Google Educator Certification. 

I actively participate in our professional development provided by our district as well as attend at least one subject matter professional development through out the school year.  

I began my teaching career here at Morris Public Schools back in 2008 as an intern in the middle school.  I was then hired as the 8^th grade ELA teacher in 2009.  I have been with this district for 14 years.  I currently teach 8^th grade ELA, 7^th grade Speech, and 7-8^th grade Humanities.  I love teaching! I really enjoy helping students set goals and achieve them!  

I also have extra duties that I love which are FCA for the high school, Student Council for the middle school, and I am one of the senior class sponsors.  

Other experiences I have had in education are the one year I was the school counselor for Pre-K – 12 grades at Midway Public Schools.  I was also the District Testing Coordinator there.  

When I am not teaching my amazing students, I am supporting my husband and children with all their sports and activities.  Family is so very important to me and I always want to be a part of what they are doing.  When I have free time, I enjoy working out, reading with a good cup of coffee, playing games, and eating out.  My favorite restaurant is Yokosuna in Tulsa.  I also have a pen obsession!  I enjoy journaling as well so I always need a good pen.  Also, my husband and I are youth pastors at Epic church in Glenpool.  We just love to give back anywhere we can.
