2023 -Teacher – Morris Middle School Math

I have been at Morris Public Schools since 2021.

I began teaching in 1982 at Grayson Elementary School in Grayson, LA

I have over 16 years of teaching experience in K12.

• 6^th Grade self-contained
• 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th Grade Science
• 6^th Grade social Studies
• 6^th, 7^th, and 8^th Grade English
• GED prep and Credit Recovery.

I am married. We have two grown sons who live in other states. Our three dogs are Jake, Clair, and Duke. The two cats are Missy Poo and Mr. Little.

I enjoy reading and listening to audiobooks.  I usually go for books that have some historical basis and/or fantasy. I am a Star Trek fan, so I have been enjoying all the new series as well as the classic Treks.
