I graduated from Morris High School in 2007. Following graduation, I went to OSU-IT to receive my Associate’s degree. I then went on to Northeastern State University to receive my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
I started my job at Morris Elementary in 2017. My dream has always been to teach at Morris, and I was ecstatic to be coming home. I am currently teaching fourth grade in the exact room that I was in when I was a fouth grade student. I teach Reading and Vocabulary for all fourth grade students. Reading has always been my passion, and I feel very blessed to be able to have the opportunity to teach it.
I received my first teaching job in 2013. I was teaching in a fourth grade position in Schulter, OK. It was the perfect school for me to begin my career. I made some wonderful relationships that I will always hold dear to my heart.
I am married to Kyle Morris. We have two beautiful children, Bryton, who is eight, and Brynlee, who is four. Both of my children attend school here at Morris Elementary. I am very blessed to be able to teach where my children go to school. We have two furbabies, a cat and a dog who keep us busy!
If I’m not teaching, you can guarantee I am spending time with my family. I believe making memories as a family is one of the most important things we can do for our kids. We love to travel and be outdoors. We are constantly planning our next adventure. If I’m not on the road, I love spending time at my church in Dewar. I have a wonderful church family and love getting my praise on!
