Library Media Specialist
I began teaching in the Fall of 1996 at Morris Public Schools. I started the regular Pre-K program and also taught extended day Kindergarten. In 1998, I moved to Tulsa and taught at Lindbergh Elementary for 6 years in Pre-K, 1st, 2nd, and 2nd/3rd grade multiage. Upon moving back to Morris in 2004, I took the Reading Specialist position and served in it for 4 years, then moved to kindergarten. I stayed in kindergarten until 2019, and then moved to the library/reading. In the fall of 2022, I began full time librarian.
I live with my husband of 22 years, David. He is a Tulsa Firefighter and we have three children, AJ, a junior at OSU Stillwater, Emma, a freshman at University of Tulsa, and Ean, a junior at Morris High School. They have all attended Morris Schools since pre-K. We have 4 chickens, 3 cats, and 2 dogs, including Shadow one of the school’s therapy dogs.
