P-EBT: Things to Know

If you get a card:

Support your local economy by using it to buy groceries at any retailer that accepts SNAP

Don’t throw your card away, even when you have used all the benefits.

Use your P-EBT card at least once every 273 days to keep from losing benefits.

Cards are mailed in white envelopes and do not say they are from the state.

If you think you’re eligible for P-EBT but did not get a card,

fill outthe Parent P-EBT Review Format sde.ok.gov/pebt.

Where can P-EBT cards be used?

Activate/Replace Card: (888) 328-6551

You will need to give your child’s STN when asked for their SSN.

Get Help: (405) 522-5050

If your address needs updating call with your child’s STN.

If you get a letter from OKDHS titled “SNAP Expungement Notice,” it means your P-EBT benefits will expire if you do not use them soon. See your letter for deadline details.

What to do next:

If you have a P-EBT card but haven’t activated it, call 888-328-6551 (toll-free) to activate. Use it at least once before the deadline in your letter.

If you lost or threw your card away, call the toll-free number with your child's STN* to request a new card. When received, activate and use the card before your letter's deadline.

If you misplaced your card and need to update your address to get a replacement, call OKDHS at (405)-522-5050 with your child's STN* to update your information and then call the toll-free number to request a new card.

Make a purchase by the deadline in your letter and use your P-EBT card at least once every 273 days to keep from losing benefits.

Hold on to your card in case more benefits come later.

 

*STN – 10-digit state testing number, used in place of your child's Social Security Number on your P-EBT card account. If you don't know your child's STN, please contact your school.
